Soccer Recap: Ardsley Takes a Loss

Ardsley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Dobbs Ferry Eagles, falling 5-0. Ardsley were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dobbs Ferry apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Ardsley's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Dobbs Ferry, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Ardsley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-2 defeat against Pearl River on the 20th. As for Dobbs Ferry, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hastings at 4:30 p.m. on October 6.
