Grand Ledge not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2, 2024. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Mt. Pleasant Oilers. For the Comets, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Oilers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Grand Ledge and bumps their season record up to 2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Mt. Pleasant, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Grand Ledge will face off against East Lansing at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will square off against Midland at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
