Game recap: Renton High School Football Team tops Foster

TUKWILA, Wash. - Renton (Wash.) put an additional nine points on the board on top of its 44-point lead going into the fourth quarter to beat out Foster (Tukwila, Wash.) 58-7.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Ernie Davis in the first quarter, the Indians were up 42-0 at the half.

Renton expanded its lead to 44 points entering the fourth quarter. RHS scored once in the quarter on an Davis touchdown run.

Foster's only touchdown came on a 5-yard run in the third quarter.



The victory avenged Renton's close 27-26 loss to the Bulldogs last season.

The victory was a step in the right direction for the Indians, who were coming off a 32-28 defeat at the hands of Decatur in its previous game. The loss was the third in a row for Foster.
