Basketball Recap: University Academy Charter Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

University Academy Charter kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the McNair Academic Cougars 49-12. The Generals just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

The victory was the third in a row for McNair Academic, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

After both having extra time off, University Academy Charter and American History will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for McNair Academic, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Dominic Academy on January 4, 2025.
