Granada (Livermore, Calif.) senior twins Josh and George Atkinson made commitments to attend Notre Dame next fall, according to the South Bend Tribune. They are the blue-chip sons of former Oakland Raiders defensive back George Atkinson II, who now is the team's radio analyst.

George is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound wide receiver who also was being recruited by the likes of Alabama, Miami and Nebraska. Josh, a 6-0, 180-pound cornerback, was being recruited by Oregon, Washington and Arizona State.

Both have outstanding speed: 4.4 seconds in the 40-yard dash and 10.6 seconds in the 100-meter dash.
