Basketball Recap: Chapman's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chapman extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping them up to 3-0. They came out on top against the Chesnee Eagles by a score of 59-51. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 63-62 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Chapman got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cade St Charles out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Those 14 points gave St Charles a new career-high. Jerry Jones was another key player, putting up 11 points and six boards.

As for Chesnee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Coy Wall, who went 7-for-13 en route to 15 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ben Reese, who posted 18 points.

Chapman has already played their next contest, a 69-60 victory against Blue Ridge on the 12th. As for Chesnee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-46 win against Brashier Middle College Charter on the 12th.
