Football Recap: University Trojans vs. Katella Knights
University can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 35-14 margin over the Katella Knights. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-6.
University had a senior duo take command as Carl Oldham picked up 142 receiving yards and three touchdowns and Justin Tribble threw for 201 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes. Tribble also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending three passes. Damari Carter helped Tribble out on the ground, rushing for 100 yards on only 12 carries.
University's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Katella, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
As of now, neither University nor Katella have any future games scheduled.
