Bourne had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 60-54 W against the New Bedford Whalers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-41 back in December of 2024.

Bourne's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for New Bedford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bourne will take on Old Rochester Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Old Rochester Regional's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for New Bedford, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Durfee at 6:30 p.m.
