Recap: Skyline Coyotes vs. Apache Junction Prospectors

The Skyline Coyotes's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They strolled past Apache Junction with points to spare, taking the game 52-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Skyline also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Skyline to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tristan Yanez, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jc Ameca, who scored five points along with five rebounds and two steals.

Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Apache Junction, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.

Skyline will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Dobson at 7:00 p.m. Dobson is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56 points per game this season. Apache Junction does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
