Baseball Recap: Metrolina Christian Academy Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Metrolina Christian Academy won the last time they faced Corvian Community and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors blew past the Corvian Community Cardinals 11-1.

Jacob Seamon was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jackson Pierce, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Metrolina Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Corvian Community only posted an OBP of .250.

Metrolina Christian Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Corvian Community, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Metrolina Christian Academy will welcome NorthPoint Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Corvian Community, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cardinals duke it out with the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
