Meanwhile, Valdosta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 62-38 to Tift County.

Valdosta's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Lowndes, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-2.

Everything came up roses for Lowndes against Valdosta in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as the team secured a 71-42 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lowndes since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
