Basketball Recap: Huntley Takes a Loss

Huntley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 50-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Glenbrook South Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Raiders of the 50-28 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Huntley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Glenbrook South, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Huntley will be playing in front of their home fans against McHenry at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Red Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Glenbrook South, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Schurz at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
