Soccer Game Preview: Savannah Christian vs. Windsor Forest

The Savannah Christian Raiders are taking a road trip to take on the Windsor Forest Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Savannah Christian is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to Greater Atlanta Christian. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Spartans are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Windsor Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Long County, falling 5-0.

Windsor Forest's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Savannah Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Savannah Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Windsor Forest when the teams last played back in February of 2015, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Savannah Christian since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
