Soccer Recap: Epiphany Takes a Loss

If Epiphany was riding high fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Coastal Brigade on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons fell just short of the White Oak Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Monday.

Epiphany's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for White Oak, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8-6.

Coming up, Epiphany will venture away from home to take on Wayne Country Day at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Epiphany will be up against Wayne Country Day's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.64 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for White Oak, they will host Dixon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dixon's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
