Basketball Recap: Laney Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

It's playoff time, and Laney had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the South Atlanta Hornets by a score of 48-38 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, South Atlanta still got an impressive performance from Duor Duor, who on his way to 17 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Christian Thornhill, who posted four points.

Laney has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. South Atlanta's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-9.

Looking ahead, Laney will challenge Tattnall County on Wednesday. Tattnall County will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Laney surely won't give up without a fight. South Atlanta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
