Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Comes Up Short

Lincoln County lost against Coffee County Central back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lincoln County Falcons received a blow as they fell 62-48 to the Coffee County Central Red Raiders. The Falcons' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Jaiden Warren, who went 6 of 8 en route to 16 points and five assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Campbelll, who posted ten points.

Lincoln County's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Coffee County Central, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-11.

Lincoln County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-57 defeat against Warren County on the 28th. As for Coffee County Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-39 victory against Spring Hill on the 28th.
