Palo Alto gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Silver Creek Raiders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Eleanor Wells and Kira Tzeng made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Wells pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
