Southern Alamance is a perfect 10-0 against Williams since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Patriots will challenge the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Southern Alamance is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Southern Alamance lost 9-3 to Northern Guilford on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Williams posted their closest win since March 6th on Wednesday. They skirted past Grimsley 11-9. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Whirlies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Aubrey Allison was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Makayla Jackson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.

Williams' win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Southern Alamance, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Southern Alamance took their victory against Williams when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 23-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
