Volleyball Game Preview: Big Walnut Golden Eagles vs. Worthington Kilbourne Wolves

For the second straight game, Big Walnut will face off against Worthington Kilbourne. The Golden Eagles will take on the Wolves at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Big Walnut is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Big Walnut proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Worthington Kilbourne 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Golden Eagles have posted since September 23rd.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Big Walnut got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 20-25, 25-15, 22-25, 15-6.

Big Walnut's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Worthington Kilbourne, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-6.
