Riverside Prep proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Big Bear Bears, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Silver Knights have posted since September 2nd.

Riverside Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 16-25, 25-20, 25-17, 16-14.

Aubrey Duran paced Riverside Prep's offense, picking up ten kills. Duran got some help from Denia Yarber and her 11 assists. Finally, Duran was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high seven blocks.

Riverside Prep's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Big Bear, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 13-9 record.

As of now, neither Riverside Prep nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
