Basketball Game Preview: Spanish Springs Cougars vs. Sierra Vista Mountain Lions

Having just played yesterday, the Spanish Springs Cougars will jump right back in to play the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Spanish Springs sitting on 17 straight victories and Sierra Vista on four.

Spanish Springs is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Rancho by a score of 68-58.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Spanish Springs to victory, but perhaps none more so than Travis Lee, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Owen Hensley, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Sierra Vista faced Clark in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Sierra Vista managed a 69-64 win over Clark.

Sierra Vista's victory bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Spanish Springs, their win bumped their record up to 24-4.
