Softball Recap: Issaquah Eagles vs. Woodinville Falcons

Issaquah entered their tilt with Woodinville with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Woodinville Falcons on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Issaquah also won the last time the pair played back in April.

Shae Erickson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in five consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, Issaquah's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Sadie Huryn, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
