Softball Game Preview: Morton/White Pass Timberwolves vs. Toutle Lake Ducks

Morton/White Pass is 0-10 against Toutle Lake since May of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Timberwolves will look to defend their home field against the Ducks at 3:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Morton/White Pass is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Wednesday. They lost 14-2 to Mossyrock.

Morton/White Pass saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bria Elkins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that Elkins has snagged this season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Toutle Lake's offense. They came up short against Adna on Monday, falling 10-0. The Ducks have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Karly Opsahl made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles.

Toutle Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Morton/White Pass, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
