Atrisco Heritage Academy hasn't had much luck against Valley recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Jaguars will be taking part in a tournament against the Vikings at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Atrisco Heritage Academy took on Los Lunas on Tuesday. The Jaguars lost 13-3 to the Tigers.

Samuel Gonzalez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Rio Rancho hit Valley with a seven-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings came up short against the Rams, falling 14-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Jaxon Foulk was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Caden Barth also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
