Softball Recap: Hightstown Rams vs. Princeton Tigers
Hightstown barely beat Princeton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams blew past the Tigers 12-2 on Monday. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Kady Olsen was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Hayden Bustos was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and one double. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sofia Hulme, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Hightstown's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Princeton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
