Lincoln is a perfect 4-0 against Marshalltown since May of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Railsplitters will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses dating back to last season for Lincoln and six for Marshalltown.

Lincoln fell victim to Indianola and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 16-0.

Meanwhile, Marshalltown also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 9-0 to Roosevelt on Thursday.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Marshalltown, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Lincoln beat Marshalltown 5-2 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Railsplitters repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
