While Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-9-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 2-1 victory from a begrudging Christian squad. Winning may never get old, but they sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for Mira Mesa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Lincoln at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christian's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Mira Mesa will take on Logan Memorial Education Campus in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Logan Memorial Education Campus is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.
