Basketball Recap: Highland Falls Despite Big Games from Nehemiah Croney and Randy Davenport + How To Watch

After flying high against Mira Monte on Saturday, Highland came back down to earth. The Scots took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins on Tuesday.

Despite the defeat, Highland had strong showings from Randy Davenport, who made all 5 shots he took for 14 points and five rebounds, and Nehemiah Croney, who posted ten points. Croney is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Fransisco Benavente also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steals of the season.

The Palmdale Aerospace Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Rodriguez, who scored nine points along with eight boards and three steals. That's the most steals Rodriguez has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Jacob Sacopla, who had 13 points and three steals.

Highland now has a losing record of 2-3. As for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Highland has already played their next contest, a 54-25 victory against Lindsay on the 2nd. As for The Palmdale Aerospace Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-52 win against Carpinteria on the 29th.
