Basketball Recap: Glide Drops Season-High Score on Myrtle Point

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glide). They walked away with a 49-38 win over the Myrtle Point Bobcats on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Glide and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Myrtle Point, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Glide will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Days Creek at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Myrtle Point, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lost River at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Lost River will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Myrtle Point surely won't give up without a fight.
