Baseball Game Preview: Farwell Eagles vs. Coleman Comets

The Farwell Eagles will take on the Coleman Comets at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Farwell duked it out with Shepherd on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 16-1 to the Bluejays.

Meanwhile, Coleman came up short against Beaverton on Monday, falling 8-1.

Coleman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Travis Murray, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Coleman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Farwell, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.

Farwell couldn't quite get it done against Coleman in their previous matchup back in April of 2022 as they fell 10-6. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
