Monte Vista came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against San Ramon Valley, but Colbie Albright wouldn't allow it. The Wolves came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Saturday for which the team can thank Albright, who had 13 digs and four aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

While San Ramon Valley might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Monte Vista scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25, 25-23, 25-19.

When it comes to explaining why Monte Vista lost, don't look at Sofia Fraioli. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and one assist.

San Ramon Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. As for Monte Vista, they moved to 24-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
