Volleyball Recap: Castaic Takes a Loss

Castaic lost against Golden Valley back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Castaic Coyotes took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Valley Grizzlies. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Golden Valley scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 27-29, 25-22.

Castaic's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Golden Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Coming up, Castaic and Burbank will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Golden Valley, they will host Glendale Adventist at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
