The Vestavia Hills Rebels will face off against the Oak Mountain Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Vestavia Hills' favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while Oak Mountain has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Vestavia Hills is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Hewitt-Trussville, who was ranked 21st at the time (Vestavia Hills was ranked third). Vestavia Hills took down Hewitt-Trussville 58-40 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Oak Mountain took a blow against Hoover on Thursday, falling 87-29.

Vestavia Hills' win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Oak Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 6-17.
