Softball Recap: Palmer Moose vs. North Pole Patriots
Palmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the North Pole Patriots by a score of 6-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Palmer of the 8-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.
For North Pole's part, the team relied heavily on Baylee Borgen, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Pole, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.
