Baseball Recap: Graford Takes a Loss

Graford was the 9-8 winner over Lipan when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Graford fell just short of Lipan by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. Rabbits fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Indians since on Tuesday.

Kamdyn Richardson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Graford has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. Lipan's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

While Graford had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
