Volleyball Recap: Commerce Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Commerce can now relate to. They came up short against the Oglethorpe County Patriots on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost seven in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-9.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 15-23. As for Oglethorpe County, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-8.

Commerce does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oglethorpe County, they will face off against Armuchee at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
