Volleyball Recap: Clifton Central Takes a Loss

Clifton Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beecher Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Clifton Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Beecher, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clifton Central will welcome Milford at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Beecher, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Peotone at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
