Gonzales kept a clean sheet against Luling on Tuesday. They blew past the Luling Eagles 5-0. Considering the Apaches have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gonzales is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four games. As for Luling, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gonzales will head out to take on La Vernia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. La Vernia will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Gonzales surely won't give up without a fight. Luling has already played their next match (against Cole), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
