Softball Recap: Nyssa Comes Up Short

Nyssa fell victim to Vale and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Friday.

Nyssa saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reyna Avalos, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Nyssa and nudges their season record down to 7-13. As for Vale, the win keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

Coming up, Nyssa is taking a road trip to square off against Baker/Powder Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vale, they will challenge Weston-McEwen at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
