Monroe Central barely beat Beallsville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Seminoles' pitcher stepped up to hand the Blue Devils a 14-0 shutout on Thursday. That looming 14-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Seminoles yet this season.

Allie McFredrick was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Karsyn Muncy also deserves some recognition as she hit her first doubles of the season.

Monroe Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Monroe Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Beallsville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
