Volleyball Game Preview: Walter Panas Panthers vs. Arlington Admirals

The Walter Panas Panthers will challenge the Arlington Admirals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walter Panas will be strutting in after a win while Arlington will be coming in after a defeat.

Walter Panas will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Scarsdale, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Panthers won by a set and slipped past the Raiders 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Walter Panas who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17.

Meanwhile, Arlington didn't have quite enough to beat Scarsdale on Saturday and fell 1-0. The loss put an end to the Admirals' undefeated start to the season.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Arlington sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-20.

Walter Panas' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Arlington, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
