Football Game Preview: Lee-Scott Academy Warriors vs. Wadley Bulldogs

The Lee-Scott Academy Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Wadley Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee-Scott Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Lee-Scott Academy needed a bit of extra time to put away Dadeville. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 26-19. Those 26 points were actually the fewest the Warriors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Lee-Scott Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Preston Huguley out in front who rushed for 40 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Brooks Zachry helped out on the ground, rushing for 80 yards.

Meanwhile, Wadley took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-7 victory over Woodland. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 29 points or more this season.

Lee-Scott Academy's record now sits at 6-0. As for Wadley, their record is now 7-0.

Lee-Scott Academy and Wadley were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but Lee-Scott Academy came up empty-handed after a 29-28 defeat. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
