Soccer Recap: Stafford Comes Up Short

Stafford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brazosport Exporters. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Spartans couldn't quite close it out.

Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Brazosport, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stafford will take on Sweeny at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sweeny will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Stafford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Brazosport, they will challenge Fort Bend Willowridge at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
