Baseball Game Preview: Pine Ridge Panthers vs. Eustis Panthers + Official Tickets

Pine Ridge will head out to face off against Eustis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine Ridge has given up an average of 6.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pine Ridge couldn't beat University on Monday even though they stacked six runs on them in the first inning. The Panthers took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Pine Ridge saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derek Rivera, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Another was Nathan Murrah, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Eustis didn't have quite enough to beat The Villages Charter on Monday and fell 6-5.

Ethan Jackson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one run. Anthony Castiglione was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Pine Ridge's record now sits at 8-11. As for Eustis, their record is now 12-11.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Pine Ridge has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Eustis struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Pine Ridge couldn't quite get it done against Eustis in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 8-5. Can Pine Ridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
