It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Moses Lake ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wenatchee Panthers 9-8. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Moses Lake pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Wenatchee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-3.
