Basketball Recap: Wilkes-Barre Takes a Loss

Wilkes-Barre lost against Holy Redeemer back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack fell 58-49 to the Holy Redeemer Royals. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Wolfpack came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Royals are ranked 483rd).

Wilkes-Barre's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Holy Redeemer, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Wilkes-Barre does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holy Redeemer, they will challenge Dunmore at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Holy Redeemer is facing Dunmore at the right time seeing as Dunmore is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
