Baseball Recap: Rancho Bernardo Comes Up Short

Rancho Bernardo lost against La Costa Canyon last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Broncos fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 3-2. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

HUGO GONZALEZ was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Rancho Bernardo's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for La Costa Canyon, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

While Rancho Bernardo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
