Volleyball Recap: MMI Preparatory School Comes Up Short

MMI Preparatory School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lake-Lehman Knights, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to MMI Preparatory School of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

MMI Preparatory School took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-10, 25-14.

Cassidy McDermott paced MMI Preparatory School's offense, picking up five kills. McDermott got some help from Shreeya Parikh and her four assists.

MMI Preparatory School's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Lake-Lehman, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

MMI Preparatory School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Hazleton Area on the 8th. As for Lake-Lehman, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Pittston on the 7th.
