Volleyball Recap: MMI Preparatory School Takes a Loss

MMI Preparatory School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lake-Lehman Knights, falling 3-0. If MMI Preparatory School was looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to Lake-Lehman when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

MMI Preparatory School took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-10, 25-14.

Cassidy McDermott paced MMI Preparatory School's offense, picking up five kills. McDermott got some help from Shreeya Parikh and her four assists.

MMI Preparatory School's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Lake-Lehman, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

Coming up, MMI Preparatory School will challenge Hazleton Area at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake-Lehman has already played their next contest (against Pittston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
