Soccer Recap: Wyoming Area Comes Up Short

Wyoming Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Pittston Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Wyoming Area of the 4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Wyoming Area's record now sits at 4-13. As for Pittston, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 10-8.

Wyoming Area wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Hanover Area on the 18th. As for Pittston, they will face off against Wallenpaupack Area at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
